A Sheridan man was charged in Worth County Circuit Court with DWI last week. Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper C.J. Sullivan filed an affidavit alleging that on April 16th, Andrew Wermelskirchen (28) of Sheridan was traveling at 77 miles per hour on Route 46 & Elk near the Isadora Bridge at around 1:34 am. Mr. Sullivan activated his lights; upon stopping him, he observed an open carton of beer and detected an odor of alcohol. Mr. Sullivan’s affidavit alleged that Mr. Wermelskirchen was in an intoxicated state and that he tested at .160 for his blood alcohol contest. He was also charged for driving 77 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone and for having no seat belt. Based on these allegations, Prosecuting Attorney David Baird filed charges in Worth County Circuit Court. Jared Welch is the attorney for the defendant.
Also, Wayne Danielski (31) of Bedford was charged in Worth County Circuit Court with two traffic tickets. Commercial Vehicle Officer Urban filed two tickets alleging that on May 17th at around 10:30 am at 169 and 46, Mr. Danielski failed to wear a seat belt and operated as an interstate motor fuel user without being licensed as such. Based on these allegations, Prosecuting Attorney David Baird filed charges.
Charges listed are merely allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
