Area Courthouse, Police, and Crime Reports for February 11th, 2026

On February 2nd, Michael Hull (35) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Domestic Assault. He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must be assessed for the Alternative Court Program and complete the Batterers Intervention Program.

On February 2nd, Jason Holsinger (42) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Tampering with Property of Another. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must make $500 restitution to the victim.

On February 3rd, Daviess County Associate Circuit Judge Micha Lea Dixon issued a warrant for the arrest of Wesley Parker (43) of Maryville alleging that he failed to abide by a court order. Bond was denied. The defendant is charged with Stealing (Felony) and No Valid License (Felony).

On February 3rd, Kourtney Bird (30) of Gallatin pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Micha Lea Dixon. Defendant may have no contact with the victim.

On February 3rd, Cody Tucker (32) of Princeton failed to appear in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Non-Support (Felony). A warrant was issued and bond was set at $7,000, cash only.

On February 3rd, Troy Henrie (43) of Galt pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to two counts Violation of Protection Order. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail by Judge Micha Lea Dixon with credit for time served.

On February 3rd, Joshua Larison (37) of Maryville failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on a probation violation hearing. A warrant was issued and bond set at $500, cash only. The defendant is on probation for Assault.

On February 3rd, Thomas Butler (57) of St. Joseph failed to appear in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Unlawful U-Turn (Accident). A warrant was issued and bond set at $250, cash only.

On February 4th, the Bethany Republican-Clipper reported that on January 27th, federal DEA agents raided two houses in Bethany in what they said was in connection with drugs. 

On February 4th, Jayson Herwehe (54) of Trenton pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to a charge of Driving While Revoked (Felony). He was sentenced to two years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Daren Adkins.

On February 4th, Norman Owen (63) of Altamont pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of DWI, Resisting Arrest, and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway. He was placed on two years probation, sentenced to 10 days in jail, and fined $60.50 plus costs by Judge Daren Adkins.

On February 4th, Joshua Wyatt (32) of Gallatin pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Domestic Assault (Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Felony), Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), and Kidnapping (Felony). He was sentenced to 19 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Daren Adkins.

On February 4th, Judge Daren Adkins revoked the bond of Sophie Matthews (33) after the court found the defendant violated her bond by violating a no-contact order. The defendant had been out on bond for Stealing (Felony).

On February 4th, Aaron Jones (51) of St. Joseph pleaded guilty in Atchison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Assault. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Brett Hurst. Defendant may have no contact with the victim or enter her place of employment. The case was moved from Nodaway County on a change of venue.

On February 5th, Chance Midyett (38) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to DWI (Prior) and No Valid License. He was fined $400 plus costs by Judge Corey Herron and placed on two years probation.  Defendant must serve 30 days shock time in jail with work release as allowed by the Sheriff.  Defendant cannot drive without ignition interlock device. Defendant must wear SCRAM device. Defendant must enter and successfully complete the 4th Circuit DWI program and all aftercare. Defendant may not possess or consume alcoholic beverages or enter bars.

On February 5th, Tony Davis (37) of St. Joseph failed to appear in Gentry County Circuit Court on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Speeding, and Driving While Revoked. A warrant was issued and bond set at $5,000 with defendant given leave to post 10% cash.

On February 5th, Ricky Jorgenson (44) of Lathrop pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Peace Disturbance. He was fined $200 plus costs by Judge Micha Lea Dixon.

On February 6th, following receipt of a violation report, Judge Corey Herron issued a warrant for the arrest of Beau Bradshaw (58) of Republic (MO). Defendant was on probation in Nodaway County for Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was denied.

On February 6th, a Harrison County Jury convicted Michael Updegraff (44) of Bethany of Violation of Protection Order. He was sentenced to 14 days in jail by Judge Matthew Krohn.

On February 8th, a black car was eastbound on Route 136 one mile east of Maryville at around 11:50 am when it passed another car going up the hill next to the Maryville Treatment Center, nearly resulting in a head-on collision. They were stopped by a cop car.

On February 9th, Erica McEwen (26) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to DWI. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Corey Herron.

On February 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Kelby Moppin (23) of Troy (KS) alleging Resisting Arrest (Felony), Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), Speeding (60/20), DWI, and Failure to Stop. Bond was set at $20,000, cash or corporate surety.

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
