On January 28th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Cody Tucker (32) of Grant City alleging Burglary (Felony). Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.
On January 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Richard Rowlett (55) of Maryville alleging Violation of Protection Order and DWI (Prior, .305% BAC).
On January 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jordan Emerson (33) of Powhattan (KS) alleging Violation of Protection Order and Harassment (Felony). Bond was set at $30,000, cash only.
On January 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Scott Yount (52) of Maryville alleging Distribution of Controlled Substance in Protected Location (Felony) and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was denied.
On January 28th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Jerrod Naze (25) of Grant City alleging Failure to Register as Sex Offender (Felony). Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.
On January 29th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Cody Tucker (32) of Grant City alleging Child Abuse (Felony). Bond was set at $15,000, cash only. This is in addition to charges filed in Harrison County.
On January 29th, Judge Corey Herron recalled the case of Amanda Morriss (43) of Maryville and granted five years probation.
On January 29th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Dennis Thomas (67) of Jamesport alleging Assault.
On January 29th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Adam Leming (52) of Urbandale (IA) alleging Trespassing and Resisting Arrest. Bond was denied.
On January 29th, Michael Benwire (44) of Bethany was found guilty by Harrison County Associate Circuit Judge Jay Hemenway following a bench trial of two counts of Animal Neglect. He was fined $200 plus costs and placed on two years probation. Defendant may not keep any animals on property except for two house cats which must remain indoors.
On January 29th, Austin Landes (30) of Kansas City was placed on one year probation by Judge Jay Hemenway for Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and Littering. The defendant had pleaded guilty on January 22nd. Defendant must pay $200 to the Harrison County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
On January 30th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Richard Wood (43) of West Des Moines (IA) alleging Possession of Cocaine (Felony), DWI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, and Speeding (84 mph). Bond was set at $25,000, cash only.
On January 30th, Daviess County Associate Circuit Judge Micha Lea Dixon ordered the extradition of Kristle Clerkley (47) to Tarrant County (TX) to face a charge of Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information.
On January 30th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Gary Spire (72) of Parnell alleging Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony).
On January 31st, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Charles Turner alleging Driving While Suspended (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.
On February 2nd, Levi Streebin (44) of Maryville failed to appear in Nodaway County Circuit Court for a probation hearing. A warrant was issued and bond was denied. The defendant is on probation for Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony).
On February 2nd, Carlos McClain (55) of Kansas City failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Non-Support (Felony). A warrant was issued and bond denied.
On February 2nd, David Craig (42) of Platte City pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to charges of Resisting Arrest (Felony), Property Damage (Felony), Driving While Revoked (Felony), Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, Failure to Signal, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, Failure to Register, Speeding (26+ mph over), and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must make restitution of $680 to the victim.
On February 2nd, Collin Salisbury (32) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Child Pornography (Felony) and Failure to Register as Sex Offender (Felony). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must serve 120 days shock time in jail with credit for time served.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
