Rylee Ruckman Scores 15, but Free Throws Doom Tigers

      Rylee Ruckman had 15 points for Worth County, but missed free throws doomed the Tigers as they lost their second straight, 51-36 to King City. Worth County was 8 for 25 from the line.

Kristen Tracy added 11 for Worth County. Audrey Runde had 6, and Megan Tracy and Kambree Briner both had 2.

Kristen Tracy had 10 rebounds to complete a double double. Keira Hardy and Kambree Briner had 4, Audrey Runde 3, and Megan Tracy 2.

Audrey Runde had 2 assists. Megan Tracy and Kambree Briner had 1.

Audrey Runde and Megan Tracy had 1 block each.

Audrey Runde had 4 steals. Megan Tracy had 2 and Keira Hardy and Kristen Tracy had 1 each.

Worth County limited their turnovers, only getting 11 for the night after getting 17 against Northeast Nodaway. They only had 12 fouls, with nobody getting more than 3.

The Tigers have dropped two straight to go to 4-3. They have won all their games when they scored 40 or more points in a game. They have dropped all their games in which they have scored less than 40.

There will be no rest for the weary as Worth County will host Albany Tuesday, December 17th; the Warriors are much improved on the season at 4-2 and have beaten Northeast Nodaway. They then play perennial powerhouse Mount Ayr on Friday and East Harrison in Trenton December 30th at 2:30 pm. The Bobcats are at 3-2 and have taken Shealyn Pliley and Winston to overtime this year.
