On December 2nd, Raymond Olson (27) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Failure to Register as Sex Offender (Felony). He was sentenced to 30 days in jail by Judge Corey Herron. On December 4th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department reported that he had been extradited to Ringgold County to face charges of Eluding (25 mph over limit), Reckless Driving, Passing on a Hill (4 counts), Unsafe Passing, Failure to Stop (2 counts), No Valid License, and False Imprisonment. Bond was set at $5,000, cash only.
On December 2nd, Kathleen Asher (31) of St. Joseph failed to appear in Nodaway County Circuit Court on charges of Burglary (Felony), Stealing (Felony), and Property Damage. A warrant was issued and bond denied.
On December 3rd, Jessie Patterson (32) of Clarinda failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court for a probation violation hearing (Stealing). An arrest warrant was issued and bond set at $750, cash only.
On December 3rd, John Mancuso (23) of Grant City pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice.
On December 3rd, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Musa Mabwe (30) of Rockford (IL) alleging DWI, Resisting Arrest, and Making an Unlawful U-Turn. Bond was set at $500, cash only.
On December 4th, Scott Marriott (57) of Gallatin pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (Felony), Child Molestation (Felony), Statutory Sodomy (Felony), and Promotion of Child Pornography (Felony). He was sentenced to 30 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Brent Elliott.
On December 4th, Luis Angel Hernandez Rico (33) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI, Failure to Signal, Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, No Valid License, No Insurance, and No Seat Belt. He was sentenced to 14 days in jail and assessed $483.50 in fines, fees, and costs by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On December 4th, Scott Hoskin (59) of Macon pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and No Plates. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On December 4th, Kristopher Dutro (34) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Property Damage. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On December 4th, Navpreet Singh (28) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to four counts of Supplying Alcohol to a Minor and one count Harassment. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 15 days served, placed on two years probation, and assessed $117.50 in court costs by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On December 4th, Nicholas Anders (24) of Sedalia pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and DWI. He was assessed $382.50 in fines, fees, and costs and placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On December 4th, Benjamin Miles (26) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Property Damage. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On December 4th, Sony Stetson (27) of St. Joseph failed to appear in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of DWI. A warrant was issued and bond set at $450, cash only.
On December 4th, an unknown person shot United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson at point blank range from behind as Thompson was walking into a building in New York City. The suspect is still at large. A massive manhunt is underway. Police believe it was a targeted killing. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward and the NYPD is offering an additional $10,000 reward for information leading to the killer’s arrest.
On December 4th, high winds caused a power outage in the area. Grant City, Gentry, Sheridan, Parnell, and Ravenwood were affected. Power stayed on at Albany, where the Albany Tournament was being held. United Electric customers were not affected.
On December 5th, on the request of Probation & Parole, Judge Steven Hudson issued a warrant for Forest Buckman (34) of Bethany and probation was suspended until further order of the court. Bond was denied with full extradition ordered. Buckman had been on probation after pleading guilty to charges of Burglary (Felony) and Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony).
On December 5th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2015 Ford Fiesta driven by a 24 year old woman from Hannibal was southbound on I-35 at the 61.2 mile marker. Another vehicle moved into the passing lane and the Ford veered into the median, crossed the northbound lanes, struck a ditch, and overturned. The driver received minor injuries.
On December 6th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Joan Crawford (70) of Bolckow and Lawrence Crawford (72) of Bolckow alleging Stealing. An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges the defendants, on several different occasions, went to a Maryville business and shoplifted various items from the store. The value of the goods alleged stolen totaled $385.26.
On December 6th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Damon Stewart (47) of Platte City alleging DWI and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).

On December 6th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jaquilla Scott (18) of Maryville alleging Stealing. An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges the defendant, on eight different occasions, stole a combined total of $450.08 from a local business.

On December 6th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Carly Keller (42) of Maryville alleging Peace Disturbance. An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges the defendant confronted a bus driver and a student while the bus was being unloaded after her child had gotten kicked off of the bus.
On December 6th, Judge Corey Herron issued a warrant for Albert Ferguson (39) of Maryville alleging that Ferguson failed to abide by a court order. Ferguson is on probation for DWI (Felony, Persistent).
On December 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2006 Ford F-250 ran off the road on Route AA near Allendale at around 1:45 pm, struck an embankment, overturned, struck a stump, returned to its wheels, and rolled into a pond. The driver, from Southlake (TX), received moderate injuries and was transported to Mosaic in Albany.
On December 6th, the Maryville Forum reported that residents in an area north of First Street and between Country Club Road and Munn Avenue in Maryville were briefly evacuated after a trailer hauling two anhydrous ammonia tanks flipped. There were no leaks, and the order was lifted one hour later.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
