Sheridan Shuts Off Water Customer for Nonpayment

The City of Sheridan has shut off one customer for non-payment, Water Superintendent Barry Lyle reported at the Sheridan City Council Meeting Monday. The council authorized the shutoff of another customer for nonpayment. A third customer had a 56,000 gallon water leak on their side of the line.

Filing dates for Sheridan City Council seats will be from December 5th to 25th. The election will be held in April.

No decision has been made on the location of a new post office. Postal officials are to visit Sheridan and tour three prospective sites. They are the Community Building, the old site at 246 and Route H, and the former Steinman house across the street from the city barn on Route H.
