Morgan Pope Named District 1 FBLA President

On Wednesday, two North Nodaway students, Jacquelyn Cline (2nd from left) and Morgan Pope (2nd from right) served as officers for the District 1 FBLA contests. Cline was VP of FBLA Public Relations and Pope was the Secretary.

Drew Welch (Worth County) finished fourth in Agribusiness and qualified for state. Jacquelyn Cline (North Nodaway) was 6th and qualified as a wildcard.

In Business Calculations, Jayliegh Robins (North Harrison) was 7th.

Morgan Pope, who gave a candidate speech, was announced as the new FBLA District 1 President.

In Computer Problem Solving, Ethan Frese (Worth County) was fifth and qualified for state.

In Database Design and Applications, Drew Welch (Worth County) was 1st and qualified for state. It was his second ticket to state.

In Digital Video Production, Ethan Frese, Tucker Owens, and Lincoln Wake from Worth County won and qualified for state. It was Frese’s second ticket to state.

In E-Business, the Worth County team of Ali Brown, Taylor Sanders, and Drew Welch won and qualified for state. They beat out a student from Cameron and a student from St. Joseph Central. It was Drew Welch’s third ticket.

From North Harrison, Evan Schreiber placed 4th in Economics and qualified for state.

In Graphic Design, Lacy Riley (North Nodaway) finished 10th.

For Worth County, Claire McElvain was 8th in Health Care Administration.

In Introduction to Business Concepts, Kenzie Milligan (North Harrison) was 2nd and qualified for state.

Lucas Frisch (Worth County) was 8th in Introduction to Information Technology.

Kenzie Milligan (North Harrison) was 4th in Introduction to Public Speaking.

Trendi Johnson (North Harrison) was 4th in Job Interview.

The Worth County team of Brayden Combs, Lucas Frisch, and Andrew Griffin was 2nd in the Public Service Announcement project and qualified for state.

For North Nodaway, Morgan Pope was 2nd in Publication Design and qualified for state.

The sales presentation of Katelyn Briggs and Trendi Johnson (North Harrison) was 2nd and qualified for state.

The Worth County team of Landon Moser, Tyler New, and Kolten Smith placed 8th in Sports & Entertainment Management.

Tucker Owens (Worth County) qualified for state and finished 3rd in UX Design. Lincoln Wake (Worth County) finished 6th.

Hailey Adwell (Worth County) saw her website design finish 2nd and qualify for state.

Lincoln Wake (Worth County) won in Word Processing and qualified for state. Lauren Herndon (North Nodaway) was 8th.
