Three people were injured Monday night in a wreck on Route 136 six miles west of Albany Monday night at around 9:28 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2004 GMC Pickup driven by Jared Moffat (21) of Albany and a 1987 John Deere Tractor driven by Russell Gillespie (64) of Albany were both westbound on 136 just west of 169 when the pickup struck the rear of the tractor after cresting a hill. They both traveled off the south side, down an embankment, and overturned. Gillespie was ejected from the tractor.
Moffat received serious injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Albany. A passenger in the pickup, Seth Hutchinson (18) of Albany, was seriously injured and taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Gillespie received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Albany.
