Trevor Fletcher Named New Grant City Hy-Vee Manager

Trevor Fletcher of Bedford was named as Store Director for the Grant City Hy-Vee; his first day on the job was last Tuesday. He replaces Donnie Waldeier, who retired after managing Grant City for 17 years. Fletcher began duties as Store Director at Bedford at the start of this year; he will manage both stores going forward.

Previously, Fletcher was the Store Director at Eldora (IA). Before that, he was Assistant Manager at Urbandale (IA), Indianola (IA), Bedford (IA), and Maryville. He was born and raised in Bedford, and got his first job at Hy-Vee in Bedford. He lives there and his a wife and three kids, ages 14, 9, and 4. He attended Simpson College (IA).

He is no relation to Worth County football and basketball coaching institution Mark Fletcher; he said he has been asked about it four to five times just two days into the job.
