The People’s Bank of Sheridan

Back in the early 1900’s, there was a bank in Sheridan known as the People’s Bank of Sheridan. They had $15,000 in capital stock on hand. Officers were J.K. Jones (President), E.P. Nesbitt (Vice-President), and V.H. Sanders (Cashier). Officers were J.K. Jones, G.A. Merckling, J.H. Nash, H.W. Simpson, N. Long, E.P. Nesbitt, and C.P. Dowis. Loans and deposits were solicited, and they offered a storage vault. Their flyer was printed by Simons Printer of Sheridan.
