Two Worth County Teachers Back Out of Probationary Teacher Contracts
Two teachers backed out of probationary teacher contracts at Worth County. The board, on Tuesday, June 21st following its closed session, voted to accept the resignations of Cody Newman and Mark Bolger with assessed fees per board policy. The board filled one of those vacancies by hiring William Coleman as a probationary teacher and junior high assistant football coach. The board then hired Les New as varsity girls head coach on a volunteer basis. He receives no pay, since he is on the school board. The board also hired Bryce Schafer as boys golf coach and Amanda Lumpkins as health aide.
