Jeff Ruckman Promoted to Chief Master Sergeant

Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt) (E-8) Jeffrey M. Ruckman was recently selected for promotion to the highest Air Force enlisted rank of chief master sergeant (CMSgt) (E-9). Public Law establishes enlisted strength levels for all branches of the United States military. Currently, only 1 percent of the Air Force’s total active duty enlisted may serve as CMSgt. 
SMSgt Ruckman serves as the 366th Training Squadron, Detachment 6, Senior Enlisted Manager at Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport Mississippi. He oversees operations and training of Airmen attending the tri-service Structures Apprentice course and three advanced supplemental courses.
SMSgt Ruckman has served in the Air Force for 22-years with past assignments in Missouri, Japan, Oklahoma, Guam, and Alaska with an upcoming assignment to The Republic of Korea. His service also includes deployments to Cuba, two tours in Saudi Arabia, Oman, two tours in Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates. 
Jeff is married to Lori (Rodseth), is the son of Michael and Beverly Ruckman, and is the grandson of Galen Ruckman and the late Betty Ruckman and Glen and Viola Jennings.
