Obituary: Leta Lasley 1923-2008

Leta Mae Lasley was born August 11, 1992 to Ralph and Nancy Ellen (Tippie) Brogan. She passed away April 12, 2008 at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph at the age of 84.
Leta was married to Jerry Lasley. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was a homemaker. She loved to do crafts of any kind. She did woodworking, crocheting and loved to sew. She even upholstered her own furniture and made doll house furniture for all her grandchildren. Leta was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and attended the United Methodist Church of Sheridan.
She was also preceded by her parents; 3 brothers, George, Ralph Junior, and Charles Brogan; one sister, Bertha Murphy; and one granddaughter, Rhonda Kaye Hughes. She is survived by one son, Charles Lasley of Dearborn, MO; daughters Bonnie Kruger of North Kansas City and Betty Dokken of Sheridan; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:30 Tuesday April 15th at the United Methodist Church in Sheridan, Pastor Vallory Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Hopkins Cemetery in Hopkins. Arrangements are under the direction of the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home of Grant City.
