Grant City Reopens Water Tower Bid

The Grant City Council, at their regular meeting Wednesday, voted to reopen the water tower bid. They only received one bid from the first time they advertised for bids.  The new deadline is January 20th at 3 pm.

The city has gotten complaints of dog issues.

Three new people are hooked up to sewer service.

Ryan Fletchall reported that there was a water leak where the two buildings on the Square had collapsed. The city took out the line so there would be no more issues. The city set blocks to stabilize the sidewalks where the Hole in the Wall collapsed.

The city is considering putting up a shed around the pool filter to keep weathering to a minimum.

Tyson Troutwine reported pushing snow and that Cory Nonneman will be delivering salt shortly. The green chevy sold for $5,800.
