On Friday, Camden Griffith of Gilman City received an offer to play football for Simpson College (IA). He was a standout quarterback and wide receiver for Pattonsburg during his football career.
In 2025-26, he caught 68 passes for 964 yards and 20 touchdowns for the Panthers, helping them to an 8-2 finish. In the 2023-24 season, Griffith had 80 catches for 1,201 yards and 18 touchdowns. As the starting quarterback during the 2024-25 season, he completed 191 of 348 passes for 2,811 yards and ran 140 times for another 617 yards.
