Brad Curtis Judd, 53, of Pickering, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, at the Village Care Center, Maryville, Missouri.
Brad was born on March 7, 1970, in Maryville, to Larry David and Juliana (Linebaugh) Judd.
He was a 1988 graduate of North Nodaway R-VI School in Hopkins, Missouri. Brad played football and was very active in other school activities. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 64 of Pickering, and had received many scouting awards, including his Eagle Scout, and the God and Country Medal where he became a member of the Pickering United Methodist Church. He was also in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
Brad had worked many years in the underground telecommunication construction business in Gardner, Kansas. The last several years he owned and operated his own lawn mowing business. Brad loved to mow yards and took great pride in it.
He was very good at working with tractors, and it was a true love of his. Brad and his dad spent many hours in the shop working side by side together restoring antique John Deere tractors. He also loved homemade ice cream.
Brad was preceded in death by his father, Larry David Judd, in 2007, and his brother, Darin Judd, in 2018.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his mother, Juliana Judd of Pickering, Missouri, his 6 siblings, Darla (James) Workman, Maryville, Missouri, Bruce Judd, Maryville, Missouri, Brian (Julia) Judd, Ravenwood, Missouri, Joseph Judd, Wellsville, Kansas, Dawn (Rodney) Brown, Allendale, Missouri, and Brett (Shalae) Judd, New Market, Iowa, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The burial will be in the Orrsburg Cemetery, Orrsburg, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the funeral home.
