Courthouse News for July 5th, 2023

On June 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Danny Owen (35) of Princeton in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Seat Belt. Charges were filed the next day. Bond was set at $20,000, cash only.

On June 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Hayley Burkeybile (33) of Trenton in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Seat Belt, and Failure to Register. Charges were filed the next day. Bond was set at $20,000, cash only.

On June 27th, Harrison County Prosecutor Alex Van Zandt filed charges against Michael McBee (35) of New York (NY) alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), No Insurance, No Valid License, and No Plates.

On June 29th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Makiah Drennen (18) of St. Joseph alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Driving While Revoked. Bond was set at $30,000 signature bond.

On June 29th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Sherry Young (46) of Maryville alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Stealing.

On June 29th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jennifer Miller (36) of Ravenwood alleging Harassment.

On June 29th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Amanda Vore (43) of Maryville alleging Stealing (Felony).

On June 30th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Savanah Summa (31) of Denver alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and Failure to Register.

On June 30th, Gentry Country Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Jose Regalado (41) of King City alleging Speeding (20-25 mph over) and Driving While Revoked. 

On June 30th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Tyler Parkhurst (29) of Albany alleging Domestic Assault.

On July 1st, a 2017 Jeep Wrangler driven by Dustin Beaty (46) of Bethany was eastbound on Route 136 one mile west of Stanberry at around 3:15 pm. The vehicle traveled off the south side down an embankment. It then struck a field entrance, went airborne, and overturned multiple times. A 13 year old passenger was killed. Beaty and another passenger, Angela Beaty (43) of Bethany, were seriously injured and transported to Mosaic in St. Joseph.

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
