Chillicothe Man Life Flighted After Car and Motorcycle Wreck

A Chillicothe man was life flighted after being seriously injured in a car and motorcycle wreck Friday at around 8 am. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2003 Dodge Caravan driven by James Martin (44) of Cameron and a 2002 Honda Motorcycle driven by William Anderson (67) of Chillicothe were eastbound on Route V and East Street in Livingston County. The Dodge slowed to make a left turn into a private drive when the motorcycle changed lanes, began skidding, and overturned, ejecting Anderson. As the Dodge was navigating the turn, it struck both the motorcycle and Anderson, trapping him under the vehicle. Anderson received serious injuries and was lifeflighted to Truman Medical Center. Martin was not injured.
