A seven year old boy was injured in an ATV wreck Tuesday, July 7th at around 8:45 pm six miles southwest of Bethany. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the boy was driving a 2006 Arctic Cat ATV westbound on Harrison County Road 382 when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the west side of the roadway, and struck a fence. He received minor injuries and was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital.

This might be a good location for a reminder that children under 16 years are not supposed to be riding ATVs. Thank God this little one was not severely injured.
