Phyllis Nadean McNeese was born on September 25, 1935 to father, Victor McNeese and mother, Ruby Powanz McNeese. She passed away November 7, 2017.
Phyllis attended Denver Missouri elementary school and graduated from Grant City High School in 1954. She was a member of the Denver Methodist Church where she taught Children’s Sunday School class for many years. Her employment before retirement was with SSM Healthcare.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunt Hester Powantz and uncle and aunt Emmett and Eula Jean Powanz.
Surviving are her sister, Peggy Drake (Jerold); cousin, LuEmma Powanz Qwinn; nephew, Alex Drake (Katherine); niece, Victoria Drake (Mathew Peterson) and two cousins: Will Quinn (Amanda)and Daniel Quinn and the following named great-nephews and niece: Andrew Drake, William Drake, Drake Peterson and Cady Peterson.
Graveside Services and Interment were held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Miller Cemetery in Denver, Missouri. Memorial may be made to Denver Schoolhouse or Worth County Convalescent Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri.
