Donald Ray Fletchall was born to Ray and Opal (McCord)
Fletchall August 18, 1931 in Denver, Missouri,
and departed this life November
1, 2017.
Don graduated
from Grant City High School in 1949. He
joined the Navy in January of 1951.
During his service he traveled the world in submarines, retiring in 1974 after 22 years as a Chief
Warrant Officer CWO3. He took great
pride in his service to his country. He
was a proud member of the V.F.W.
Don had a son
Doug from his marriage to Barbara Kerr.
Don and Sharon
were married August 16, 1981 on his farm.
They spent many years traveling.
Fishing was his passion.
Don was preceded
in death by his parents, sisters Glendola McGrew, Twila Highshoe, and stepson
Jarret Auten.
He is survived by
wife Sharon, sister Annette Jones, son Doug Fletchall (Pam), Don Holman (Gail),
Gene Auten (Christy), and daughter Marty
Parker (Doug), 5 grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren, many friends and relatives.
Funeral Services
will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in
Grant City with interment in Fletchall
Cemetery, Grant City.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the
funeral home.
