The North/West Nodaway Musket boys won a three way track meet with Rock Port and East Atchison in Tarkio Thursday. The Muskets scored 55.25 points, followed by Rock Port with 43.5 and East Atchison with 43.25. On the girls side, Rock Port won with 59 points, followed by 53 for East Atchison and 26 for North/West Nodaway.
For the girls, Abbi Marsh easily won the 100 with a time of 14.60, which was .42 of a second ahead of her nearest competitor. Mackenzie Stuart was third with a time of 15.17.
Saylor Brown was third in the 400 with a time of 1:13.15.
Reagan Hagey was second in the 1600 with a time of 6:50.15.
The 4x100 team won as the team of Mackenzie Stuart, Jadon Dobbins, Saylor Brown, and Abbi Marsh got a time of 1:00.95.
Saylor Brown won the High Jump with a jump of 3’10”.
Jadon Dobbins was second in the Triple Jump with a jump of 24’4.5”.
Karissa Oberhauser was fourth in the Discus with a throw of 57’2”.
The boys placed three in the 100. Grant Adkins was second with a time of 13.50. He was followed by Bryan Hyatt with a time of 13.86, and Gabe Goff with a time of 14.33.
Hyatt was fourth in the 200 with a time of 28.43.
The boys placed three in the 400. Karson Oberhauser was second with a time of 1:04.86. Cody Cline was third with a time of 1:07.30. Will Cordell was fourth with a time of 1:07.87.
The boys secured the top three places in the 800. Duke Ingraham won with a time of 2:46.34. Will Cordell was second with a time of 2:49.37, while Wyatt Ingraham was third with a time of 2:50.65.
The boys ran the table in the 1600. Preston Bateman won with a time of 5:43.82. Duke Ingraham was second with a time of 5:51.73. Hunter Dawson was third with a time of 6:03.31, while Dakota Wray was fourth with a time of 6:43.78.
Grant Adkins won the 100 Hurdles with a time of 18.21.
The 4x100 team of Grant Adkins, Karson Oberhauser, Bryan Hyatt, and Gabe Goff was second with a time of 54.63. The 4x200 team of Dawson Fast, Noah Johnson, Hunter Dawson, and Will Cordell was also second with a time of 2:04.16. The 4x400 team of Karson Oberhauser, Tyler Blay, Cody Cline, and Preston Bateman was second with a time of 4:37.34.
Karson Oberhauser was third in the High Jump with a height of 4’6”. Preston Bateman was tied for fourth with a height of 4’4”.
Dakota Wray was second in the Triple Jump with a distance of 27’1”.
Gabe Goff was third in the Discus with a throw of 91’3”.
