The North/West Nodaway Junior High Muskets finished fifth on the boys side with 46 points and got 9 team points on the girls side at the Worth County Early Bird last Tuesday.
On the girls side, Abbi March was fifth in the 100 with a time of 14.84.
Saylor Brown was sixth in the 400 with a time of 1:12.42.
The 4x100 team of Mackenzie Stuart, Karissa Oberhauser, Saylor Brown, and Abbi Marsh was fourth with a time of 1:00.97. The 4x200 relay team of Stuart, Oberhauser, Brown, and Marsh was fifth with a time of 2:10.03.
On the boys side, Bryan Hyatt was sixth with a time of 29.25 in the 200.
Karson Oberhauser was sixth in the 400 with a time of 1:04.95.
The Muskets secured most of their points in the longer distance events. Wyatt Ingraham was third in the 800 with a time of 2:39.04. Right behind him was Will Cordell with a time of 2:40.16. Preston Bateman secured North/West Nodaway a win in the 1600 with a time of 5:23.23. Teammate Duke Ingraham was third with a time of 5:33.93.
Grant Adkins was fifth in the 100 Hurdles with a time of 19.73.
The 4x100 team of Grant Adkins, Karson Oberhauser, Bryan Hyatt, and Gabe Goff was second in the 4x100 with a time of 54.72. The other relay team to place was the 4x400 team of Karson Oberhauser, Tyler Blay, Cody Cline, and Preston Bateman, which was sixth with a time of 4:32.02.
Karson Oberhauser’s fourth medal was in the High Jump, where he was third with a height of 4’10”.
Gabe Goff was sixth in the Discus with a throw of 86’11”.
