Mustang Softball Lasts Six Innings Against Unbeaten Jefferson

It didn't get any easier Thursday night for the North Nodaway Mustangs as they fell to Jefferson 12-2 Thursday. It was their third straight loss after starting off the season with three straight wins. Hitting continued to be a problem as they only collected three hits in the loss; they have had only eight in the last three games.

Breann O'Riley pitched in the loss for David Carroll's squad, with Keegan O'Riley coming on in the fifth. Breann and Keegan O'Riley each drove in one run. North Nodaway kept going by getting two runs in the top of the fifth, cutting Jefferson's lead to 7-2. But the Eagles scored two in the fifth and two in the sixth to end the game.
