Eli Mullock Breaks School Record by Half a Second

Eli Mullock broke his own school record by half a second in the 100, getting a time of 10.31 at Stanberry Thursday to win the event. Eli has done very well at Stanberry; he broke the record there last year as well. This is one of the best times in the state as well.
The boys placed a strong second at Stanberry. Dallas Greenland recorded a personal best of 130’6” to win the discus. Eli Mullock won the Long Jump with a distance of 19’9½”. Grant Parman was third in the triple jump with a distance of 39’7½”. Worth County was second in both the 4x200 and the 4x800; in the latter event, the Tigers shaved 20 seconds off their previous time. The boys were second at the event behind only Stanberry.
The Tiger girls won the event with a total score of 81 points despite only one person winning an event. However they made up for it by having a lot of different people place. Kaitlyn Davidson was third in the discus with a distance of 85’10”. Davidson was also second in the Shot Put with 33’7½”. Katie Mullock was third in the Long Jump with a distance of 15’6½”. Sydney Thummel was 3rd in the 100 with a time of 13.83. Katie Mullock was 2nd in the 200 with a time of 28.99. Sydney Thummel was 3rd in the 100 with a time of 17.86 and won the 300 with a time of 50.50 for Worth County’s lone win of the afternoon on the girls side.
