The short film "Elegy of Dreams" by Clayton Scott and other Northwest Missouri State students was shown at The Hangar Thursday evening. It was shown with two other short films. "Elegy of Dreams" is a film about two detectives who are on the track of a serial killer who has killed various people in horrific fashion. For one of the detectives, the case becomes more personal that he ever could have imagined. The detective has numerous dreams about how the killings were done; hence the name "Elegy of Dreams." As the case progresses, it becomes increasingly personal as the detective learns horrific secrets about his past.
Clayton is the son of Mike and Linda Scott of Sheridan. He said that he had a lot to work on, but that he had a lot of fun putting the movie together.
