Lenny Campbell, Amanda Lumpkins to Wed

Amanda Lumpkins and Leonard Campbell are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Lenny is the son of the late Eldon and Saundra Campbell of Grant City, Missouri. He graduated from Worth County R-lll in 2006. He is employed at Worth County Lumbar. The bride to be is the daughter of Debra and Matt Gruber of Iberia, Missouri. She graduated in 2012 from Iberia R-V High school.  She is employed at Worth County R-lll School District as the Health Aide.

The couple will unite in marriage on September 29th, 2018 in a ceremony held at the Grant City Skating Rink. The reception will follow at 7 o’clock pm. The couple plans to reside in Grant City, Missouri.

Andrew, Angela Pickering Married

Andrew and Angela (Osborn) Pickering were married Friday afternoon by Judge Joel Miller at the Worth County Courthouse. Witnesses were Dan Jackson and Angela Huntsman. They had an informal reception afterwards at the Office Tavern in Grant City.

Robert & Teresa Staton Wed

Robert and Teresa Staton were married in a private ceremony Friday, May 25th. They held a reception for the public on Saturday. Robert is the son of Duane and Beverly Staton of Grant City. Teresa is the daughter of Randy and Diane Osborn and Marjorie and the late Jack “Doc” Parker.

Pierce, Hoffer to Wed

Kevin and Charity Austin, of Sheridan, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Pierce, to David Hoffer, son of Jim and Michelle Hoffer, of Granville, Ohio and Ken and Lisa Miller, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Amber graduated from Muskogee High School in 2001. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a double major in Kinesiology and Community Health. She is currently employed with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. David graduated from DuBois Area High School in 2001. He joined the United States Air Force in June of 2001. He is currently a Staff Sergeant stationed at the Little Rock Air Force Base. He has served his country through nine deployments.
The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of Dan and Naomi Whitehouse, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Gene and Clauddea Austin, Owasso, Oklahoma and the late Gloria Pierce. The groom-elect is the grandson of Marlin and Joan Hoffer, Dubois, Pennsylvania and Phil and Myrna Magnuson, Curwensville, Pennsylvania.
A January 31st wedding is planned at Christian Chapel in Muskogee, Oklahoma with a Caribbean honeymoon to follow.

Paxson, Hunt to wed

Mr. Daniel Hunt of Grant City and Mrs. Ellen Hunt of Maryville, MO would like to announce the marriage of their daughter, Sharon Hunt to Tyler Paxson. Tyler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Paxson of Sheridan. Through this courtship, there has been one child born, Brylea Danielle Paxson. The wedding ceremony will be held at Sheridan Christian Church June 7th, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
Sharon is a 2006 graduate from Worth County High School and a 2007 graduate from North Central Missouri College where she has received her Practical Nursing Training. She is employed at St. Francis Family Health Care in Maryville, where she is working as an LPN.
Tyler is a 2003 graduate from Worth County. He is the business owner and operator of Paxson’s Welding and Tire Service of Sheridan.
Grandparents include Jubal and Opal Hunt of Grant City; the late Douglas and Francis Winter of Clarinda; Vernon and Donna Paxson of Sheridan; and Francis and Erma Berg of Maryville.
There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony at the Parnell Legion Hall in Parnell. Cake and punch will be served as well as supper. Dance will begin approximately 8:00 p.m. Please come and enjoy!

Marriage -- Heather Rauch and Joe Ackman

Emma and Sarah Young along with Ali Ackman wish to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their parents, Heather Rauch and Joe Ackman, both of Maryville. The wedding will take place on Saturday, May 17th at 6 p.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church in Maryville. A reception will follow the ceremony at the American Legion Hall in Maryville.
