Vice
President Marcia Cline opened the meeting.
Members present were Don and Judy Crane, Mary K. Clements, Ruth A.
Florea, Anna Mae Thompson, Lois Brand, Kay A. Coleman, Joyce Hennegin and new
member Lana Hoepker. Bub Kreps has also
joined us this year but was absent tonight.
Joyce
read the minutes from the Spring 2026 meeting.
Judy moved we accept, Mary K. seconded, motion carried.
Lois
gave the treasurer report. Kay A. moved we accept, Don seconded, motion
carried.
OLD
BUSINESS
The
cement work at the back door has not been done. Marcia will talk to Ron Cross
about it.
The
Venmo discussion at the Spring meeting was discussed. It was decided by
acclimation not to subscribe to it at this time.
NEW
BUSINESS
New
donations since the Spring meeting are a bible from Maurice Peve’s building (Bobbi
Oberhauser) and a 1935 Roxy calendar from Shirley McKee.
The
amount of yearly dues has not been raised since the beginning. Discussion was held. Lana moved we raise to
$15 per person, Judy seconded, motion carried.
Anna
Mae stated that her son Jason has examined the roof due to kids damaging
it. He will give us an estimate if he is
willing to repair any damage. When that
is completed, repair work on the ceiling tiles that are stained is needed.
The
sign in the front window that gives names to call outside of open hours in the
summer needs to be changed. Marcia and
Anna Mae consented to be on the new sign.
Marcia will print new sign.
Discussion
was held as to a new president due to the death of Allen Thompson. It was agreed to vote on new officers at
election time in the Spring.
Spring
Meeting date was set for Tuesday, March 16, 2027 at 7:00 p.m.
