Numerous Bluejays Place at Missouri State Fair

Numerous Bluejays and NEN alumni got medals for state projects and for showing livestock at the Missouri State Fair.

--Rylee Scadden got Gold for her zinnia arrangement and Bronze for her fresh bud vase.

--Brady O’Connell received Gold on his Amazing Grace cross made out of horseshoes and Silver on his horseshoe frog. Perhaps he was the baseball team’s good luck charm last spring, as they got a winning season after a three-year drought.

--Aubrey Fetters received a Silver medal on her horseshoe cow.

--Alumni Dalanie Auffert received Champion on her alfalfa bundle, Champion on her warm season bundle, Gold on her cornstalks, Gold on her birds foot trefoil bundle, Silver on her alfalfa bale, Silver on her mixed grass bale, and Bronze on her soybean plant.

--Aubrey Fetters received 2nd in barrels, 7th in Walk Trot Ranch Rail, and 6th in Walk Trot Ranch Riding.

--Alumni Baylie Busby received Reserve Champion Oxford with “Scott” and 4th with her ewe “Kourtney.”

--Kipton and Daylee Thummel together showed: “Pinkies Up” and received Division Champion PGS, “566-Official” and received Reserve Division, “580- Good Time Charlie” and received Division Champ, and Reserve Grand Overall Bull both days. “Rocky” and received 2nd in class Open Show, “Rizzler” received Division Champ.

--Bexlie Busby was 3rd with her sheep “Whitney.”

--Jordann Doty was 4th Overall Market Lamb and Reserve Champion Natural Market Lamb.

--Ross Doty received Reserve Champion Southdown Market Lamb.

--Regan Stiens received Reserve Champion Mini Heifer.
