The Blockton City Council met Monday and heard concerns from several residents. Issues discussed included vegetation, obstructions at street crossings, dogs running loose, road and ditch erosion, road surface deterioration, and ground surface fix at the swing set space in the park.
The city responded that it will work to evaluate the severity of each issue, gather cost and labor estimates for repairs, began working on fixes as resources allow, and search out grant opportunities.
The next meeting will be September 8th at 7:00 pm.
The Ambulance got one call for lift assist.
