Betty Jean Fletchall was born on October 17, 1931, in Worth County, Missouri, to Francis and Rosa Goff. She passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 94.
Betty graduated from Grant City High School in 1949. After
graduation, Betty married Joe Fletchall on March 16, 1950 in Grant City,
Missouri. Together they shared 69 years of marriage and were blessed with two
sons, Richard and Bobbie.
Betty and Joe participated at the dinner theater in Sheridan, a
venture they both greatly enjoyed. She was an active member of her bridge club
and liked to try her luck at the casino. She also enjoyed traveling, whether by
land, air or water, and treasured the many memories made along the way. She
made certain the cookie jar was always full for family — a tradition that
remains one of her grandchildren's fondest memories.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard Fletchall and wife,
Marilyn, of Stanberry, Missouri, and Bobbie Fletchall and wife, Cindy, of
Kansas City, Kansas; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1
great-great-grandchild; one on the way and two sisters. She also leaves behind
many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will
cherish her memory.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Fletchall; her
parents, Francis and Rosa Goff; one brother; one sister-in-law; and two
brothers-in-law. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at
Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Funeral services will follow
at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Sheridan Cemetery., Vanskyock Additon.
