Courthouse News for November 3rd, 2021

On October 26th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Randy Randle (52) of Cainsville in Harrison County on a charge of No Valid License and a Misdemeanor Warrant from DeKalb County.

On October 26th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Max Schlund (40) of LaVista (NE) in Harrison County on a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and a Felony Warrant from the City of Council Bluffs (IA). Charges were filed on October 27th by Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer. Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.

On October 26th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Thomas Affuso (40) of Maryville alleging Harassment (Felony), Domestic Assault (Felony) and Violation of Protection Order.

On October 27th, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Shane LaViolette (48) of Altoona (IA) alleging DWI and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.

On October 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jerry Swinney (30) of Amazonia in Nodaway County on an Andrew County Warrant (Driving While Revoked).

On October 27th, Northwest Mo Info reported that a 17 year old teen was taken into custody after allegedly making a threat on social media against the Cameron School District. 

On October 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Austin Wray (19) of Clearmont alleging Statutory Rape (Felony). Bond was set at $100,000, cash or corporate surety.

On October 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Dylan Whitmire (25) of Eagleville in Harrison County on a charge of DWI.

On October 27th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Justin Vietz (30) and Becky Vietz (34) of Stanberry alleging Interference with Custody.

On October 27th, Special Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Donald Gillespie (59) of Grant City in Worth County alleging DWI (Felony), Failure to Place Car as Near as Right Side as Practicable, and No Head Lights.

On October 28th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Brian Buntin (40) of Bethany alleging Forgery (Felony).

On October 30th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Lamon Phillips (24) of Kansas City in Nodaway County on a charge of NO Insurance and a Nodaway County Warrant for Failure to Appear (No Valid License).

On October 30th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department reported that a 2003 Saturn Ion driven by Sue Jones of Mount Ayr was leaving the Hy-Vee Parking Lot in Mount Ayr, attempted to turn left, and struck a utility pole. There were no injuries, and approximately $1,000 in damages.

On October 30th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Shawn Dierenfeldt (44) of Albany alleging Rape or Attempted Rape (Felony) and Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy (Felony).

On October 30th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Lacy Miller (35) of Miller alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Trespassing. Bond was set at $30,000, cash or corporate surety.

On October 31st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against J’Ravein Jerome Anderson (23) of Maryville alleging two counts Resisting Arrest (1 Felony), Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), Leaving the Scene, and Property Damage. Bond was set at $50,000, cash or corporate surety.

On October 31st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Skylar Jones (18) of St. Joseph in Nodaway County on charges of DWI and Speeding.

On November 1st, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Darryl Bess (58) of Blythedale alleging Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Felony) and Domestic Assault (Felony). Bond was set at $50,000, cash only.

On November 1st, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Hollee Harville (38) of Trenton alleging DWI, No Valid License, and No Headlights.

On November 1st, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Randy Randle (52) of Cainsville alleging No Valid License (Felony).

On November 1st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Aaron Sartin (33) of Willard (KS) alleging DWI, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
