Janice Yvonne Flemming was born June 15, 1936 in Lamar, Colorado to James and Velma (Neiman) Lane. She departed this life August 8, 2017 at Worth County Convalescent Center in Grant City, Missouri at the age of 81 years.
Janice was united in marriage to John Fleming on Christmas Day 1956. They made their home in Colorado and became the parents of four children. After the death of her husband in 1983, Janice moved to Missouri to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Lee Mincy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son Jimmy Fleming, daughter Patricia Mincy, granddaughter Toshia Mincy, brother James Lane, sisters Alverta Scott, Elda Brack, and Doris Walther.
Janice is survived by her son-in-law and care giver, Lee Mincy, Grant City, Missouri, daughter Yvonne Maynard and husband Dennis, Arvada, Colorado, son Richard Fleming, and wife Laura, Aurora, Colorado, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sisters Tressie Pitier , Kansas City, Kansas, Pam Hockett, Farmington, New Mexico , and Esther Brown, Texas.
Janice was a patient and loving person who was always helpful and kind to others.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City, Missouri. Inurnment will be at a later date in her beloved mountains beside her husband John and son Jimmy in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Evergreen, Colorado
