Norma Jean Walker, 94, of Ravenwood, MO, passed from this life on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville, MO.
Jean was born at home near Ravenwood, on August 19, 1928, to George C. and Ruby C. (Lewis) Wilson. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her 2 brothers, Norris W. Wilson, and Burton Wilson, and her son in law, Gregory Brandt.
She graduated from the Ravenwood High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker.
On June 27, 1950, Jean was united in marriage to Donald E. Walker. He passed away on March 15, 2010, after 59 years of marriage.
Jean was a member and attended the Ravenwood Christian Church. Her family and taking care of her home were very important to her. She also gardened, canned, and liked to sew.
Her survivors include her 3 daughters, Patricia (Tim) Godsey, Ravenwood, MO, Pam (Paul) Tetrick, Auburn, NE, and Anita Brandt, Ravenwood, MO, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Ravenwood Christian Church, Ravenwood, MO. The burial will follow in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, MO.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until service time at the Church.
The Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO is in charge of arrangements.
