Obituary -- Robert "Pete" Craven 1936-2021

Robert Ual “Pete” Craven of Denver Mo passed away on December 30, 2021.

He was born on June 21st 1936 in Denver MO, and was the son of Ethel Elsie Craven and William Richard Craven.  He moved to Kansas City in 1955 where he started his career at the Distribution Center for International Harvester in the Fairfax District of Kansas City Kansas.  He worked for 30 years for International Harvester, retiring in 1985, and then began a new career roofing and painting houses.

He spent his life living in the Platte Woods area of Kansas City until 2000, when he retired and moved back to Denver MO.

Preceding him in death are his parents, 6 brothers, Delois, Oral Lee, Bryce, Richard Wayne, Charles William and Vernon; two sisters Lavon Scott and Wauneta Reynolds, and son-in-law Tony Riddle.

Survivors include a son Robert Wayne of Liberty MO, daughter Lisa Riddle of Parkville; two grandchildren Lindsay Morris, (Wayne), of Parkville and Taylor Riddle, (Madi) of Lansing KS.  Also, two great grandchildren T.J. Riddle and Genevieve Morris.

Funeral Service:  1:30 PM Thursday, January 6 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.  The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM prior to the service at the chapel.  Friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Thursday morning. Following the service there will be a celebration of life at the Hughes Bar X Ranch in Albany MO.
