Postal Service to Maintain Six Day Service

The US Postal Service will retain six day service following Congressional pressure and a finding by the General Accounting Office that they were required to maintain six day service by law, Senator Claire McCaskill's office and multiple news sources report. The Postal Service had proposed to switch to five day service except for Post Office box customers by this fall; citing $2 billion in possible savings annually.
