Three Injured in Teen Wreck Near Clearmont

Three teens were injured in a wreck near Clearmont Friday night at around 9:15 pm on 170th Street and Fortune Road three miles southeast of Clearmont. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Abbie Morrow (17) of Burlington Junction was eastbound on 170th Road when she began to travel off the south side of the road. She overcorrected and drove off the north side of the road, striking several trees, spinning counterclockwise, and coming to rest partially in the westbound lane. 

Morrow received minor injuries and refused treatment on the scene. A passenger, Ashlynn Roberts (17) of Clarinda, received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Maryville. A 16 year old minor received serious injuries and was taken to Mosaic.
