Marketing for small business course helps companies target customers and get them to buy

Experts tell us that marketing is a more a mysterious art than an objective science.

Actually, it’s a little of both.

“Practical Marketing for Small Business” is a three hour course that will help owners, managers and marketing directors create a breakthrough marketing program through understanding how to implement effective marketing principles. This course will cover: the foundational pieces of a marketing plan, what areas of your past marketing efforts need to be examined, marketing strategies which have proven to work for small business, and how to put this information into action.

“Practical Marketing for Small Business will provide participants with workable strategies to make your business’s marketing efforts more effective. Through a PowerPoint presentation method and in-class assignments, attendees will learn how to apply proven marketing concepts to their individual businesses.

Practical Marketing for Small Business is offered at the Buchanan County Extension Center at: 4125 Mitchell Ave., St. Joseph, on June 30, 2011. Cost for this seminar is $35. Seating is limited. Participants must register by June 30, 2011, by calling (660) 446-3724. Payment may be made at the door.
