Input Needed for Broadband Planning for Area

The State of Missouri is in the midst of a transformative effort to expand the reach of affordable, high speed internet access to 95% of Missourians within five years. A critical part of this comprehensive MoBroadbandNow effort is based on local and regional planning which is heavily reliant on input from you. Residential surveys have already been sent to many households, but we also need input from those of you involved in the following sectors: education, business, healthcare, government, and existing internet service providers – in other words, anyone who has or needs a job.

To help with this planning effort, please take a few minutes to go to
http://mobroadbandnow.com then select the Regional Planning tab and click on Northwest Missouri. There you will find a list of surveys available for various sectors. Select the survey for the sector or sectors that you are involved in. It should only take about five minutes to complete a sector survey. Your input is important to assure that the broadband needs of Northwest Missouri are considered during the development of the Missouri broadband strategic plan.

If you have any questions about the MoBroadbandNow program or need assistance with completing a survey, please contact Arnie Kreek at the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments – Phone: 660-582-5121 or email Arnie@nwmorcog.org
